Amazing illustrations from Asia are getting together.
Maybe the best asian illustrators portal I've ever seen. Highly recommended!
Lots of good shit.
A tremedously rich source of articles and links to artists either working in Asia or of Asian descent living elsewhere.
If you like the mix on Lines and Colors, and Drawn!, I think you'll appreciate the nice stwe of styles , genre and approaches in contemporary Asian art that the blogs' creators, Josef Lee and Sam Lay. are constantly cooking up.
Kinda like Drawn! but focusing on one continent where alot of exciting things are happening.
A great site for keeping up with new artists in Asia. I have been blown away by the quality and diversity of style of the artists they feature.
Lovely stuff
This is seriously the place to visit if you have any remotest interest in art and illustration.
an Asian drawing portal that seriously rocks
Area 105

Area 105

Hailing from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, Tony Ariawan a.k.a. Area 105, describes himself as a simple guy who just loves graphics. His works span from 3D modeling to 2D illustrations, to graphic design, photo imaging, to motion graphics.

The 2d and 3d illustrator/graphic designer's behance portfolio has received so much attention (for his image treatments using only Adobe Photoshop) that it is recognized as one of the most appreciated among all other portfolios from other countries. He is definitely one of the talented Asian designers to look out for.

Ronald Kurniawan

Ronald Kurniawan

Ronald Kurniawan graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Inspired by ideograms, syllables, letterforms, beasts and heroic landscapes, he slowly but surely continues to create a visual language where the wilderness and civilization could merge happily together. With the belief that the sublime and nuclear age could coexist, he paints romantic environments and breaks the quiet scene with juxtaposed imagery taking the shape of icons and letterforms. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles where he paints meticulously and happily accompanied by his pug Ruffles, an avid artist himself.

First saw Ronald's works at Nucleus Gallery at Alhambra CA 3 years ago, this artist with Indonesian roots never fails to amaze. Check out his website, his blog and an interview at FeedMeCoolShit.
