Every-Every is a dynamic design duo from Thailand, Yota Sampasneethumrong and Jirayu Koo-Armornpatana. Working across various media from Graphic design, Motion graphic to Illustration. Their works are mainly collage and drawings, showing simplicity and wit. With the latest commissions by the like of Design Week, VV, and Big Chill Festival, the duo is set to be the future's hot stuff in London design scene.

Lang Leav / Akina

Akina is a multi-award winning Sydney-based label that produces vintage apparel, accessories, and storybooks.

It's creator, Thai-born Lang Leav is a Qantas Siprit of the Youth Award (SOYA) winner in 2005 bringing her to the attention of successful Australian designer Peter Morrissey who have become her mentor. Her creativity and style sprawled from Illustration to Fashion with her merchandise gaining quite a following over in Australia and Japan. She has also been given the Winston Churchill Fellowship Award which gave her the opportunity to travel to Japan to study about Harajuku girls and their lifestyle.

She recently published an illustrated storybook called "The Little Mermaid" based on the haunting fairytale by Hans Christian Anderson. You can purchase a copy of the book at her website.

Bangkok 226

New exhibition at Bangkok Art & Culture Center

Bangkok Art & Cultural Center proudly presents a new exhibition "Bangkok 226". The show will tell the 226 yers old story of this vibrant city via works from more than 50 well-known Thai artists. It will create a multi-dimentional narrative of this beloved city and show it to the public like it's never been seen before.
The exhibition is devided into 4 sections:Bangkok Early Day, Moderised Bangkok, Nostalgic Past, New Bangkok Skyline and Dream Bangkok

Additionally there'll be related activities to the exhibition, including movie screening, plays, historical lecture, artists talk, etc.

this show will be open until 15th Febuary 2008, don't miss it!

Pornpol Rakboonyuang

Faith Art and Fantasy

The man behind the most successful card game in Thailand, Pornpol Rakboonyuang, is not only a great business man, but also a magnificent artist.
"I also dedicated all my works to God" he said modestly, "So the true creator of my works is him. I am only his faithful servant."

Born in 1917 from a Thai/Taiwan family, Pornpol founded Summoner Master Trading Card game 8 years ago. Under his supervision, the company has created and exposed many of Thai artists to the global market, including Sinad Jaruartjanapat, Skan Srisuwan, Thitipon Dicruen, Wathawijit, and many more.

Pornpol's art work uniquely consist of mixture between RPG fantasy and strong religious influence.
"God's love for us is like Artist's love for his art" he said, "So I always have the confident that I'll be able to create great artwork because I, myself, am a living beloved artwork of God"

LOLAY

Since his first solo exhibition, "Dream" in 1994, Mr. Lolay has been presenting his twisted yet charming view of the world and its society.
His unique style of consists of cartoon drawings of people that symbolise different characters and genders in our society today.
With his works exhibited all over the world, Mr. Lolay is arguably Thailand hottest illustrator at this moment.
